Violet L. Koch - April 5, 2004

Violet L. Koch, 94, of Minonk died at 8:20 p.m. Monday (April 5, 2004) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minonk.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Calvert & Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, with the Rev. Daniel Gansch-Boythe officiating. Burial will follow in Minonk Township Cemetery, Minonk. Visitation will be for one hour before services Friday at the memorial home.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Mrs. Koch was born Dec. 4, 1909, in Panola Township, the daughter of John and Anna May Alt. She married Henry Koch on Dec. 10, 1929, in Minonk. He died Oct. 21, 1987.

Surviving is one niece, Janet (William) Seefeldt of Littleton, Colo.; one nephew, William (Julie) Koch of Secor; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; two great-great-nephews; one great-great-niece; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Hilda Saunders.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Minonk; a member of the Ladies of St. Paul; and a long time member of Panola Home Extension.
